A couple of years ago I started looking into purchasing a pedal assist bike. During my hunt I came across the Flykly Kickstarter video and got really excited about the idea. The original video tells a great story, the details are a bit out of date, but the essence of the project shines thru. I love that you can add the smart wheel to your current bike. The smart wheel is activated by an app on your smartphone. The smart wheel can be locked once you reach your destination and will actually alert you if your bike/wheel begins to move without you(get's stolen). Hood River is an especially hilly town, I love the idea of being able to bike around town without being a sweaty mess when I reach my destination.
